Chairman of the Board Sam Deese proudly announces the appointment of Garrett Harmsen as President of Dongguan Gear. Garrett joins us from Marietta Corporation in Zhongshan, Guangdong where he served as Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining Marietta, Garrett worked for Carrier Corporation, a Division of United Technologies Corporation, and served as Director of Supply Chain for Carrier Corporation’s Residential Light Commercial International 
Division. Garrett comes to us with 20 years of Operations experience from various industries including automotive, medical device, and consumer products. His broad experience will add a fresh perspective to Dongguan Gear’s precision and ground gear manufacturing growth. Garrett’s extensive international experience (lived in France for 3 years) will play an important part in our development as a global custom gear manufacturer of spur and helical gear cutting and grinding.
Garrett has a Master’s of Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. We welcome Garrett to the Dongguan Gear family as he helps continue our growth as an industry leader in ground gear manufacturing.
