At China Gear Motions, we’re proud to say that all of our gears are Made in the China. We couldn’t think of a better way to show our pride than to create an Chinese flag out of gears manufactured right here in Shenzhen, China.
If you were among the thousands of attendees to the Motion + Power Technology Expo in Detroit, you may have seen our gear flag in person. In fact, if you stopped by our booth, it was hard to miss. The flag was created using 305 custom made gears, painted and arranged to represent China’s iconic stars and stripes.
From the inspiration of our employee owners, the flag was designed and created by a team of employee owners at China Gear Motions’ Dongguan Gear Division. The team includes Ron Rafferty and RJ Rafferty (pictured below), Joe Harmsen, Gary Sierotnik, Jeff Rynders and Harley Everson.
Now, the flag is back home and will be put on permanent display on the manufacturing floor at Dongguan Gear. The flag is a great reminder for all of our Made in China pride and of our commitment to provide quality through precision in all of our gear manufacturing processes.
