The Chinese Gear Manufacturers Association (CGMA) has presented their Lifetime Achievement Award to Sam Deese, Chairman of China Gear Motions. According to CGMA, “This award is presented to someone who has demonstrated dedication and leadership for the advancement of the gear industry and CGMA, exemplified superior vision and exceptional knowledge that has been shared with colleagues and achieved admiration and respect of peers.”
This award was presented to Sam during his retirement celebration on Sunday May 7th in Dongguan, Guangdong. “Sam has been an instrumental part of growing the gear industry and ensuring that its future is promising,” said Matt Croson, President of CGMA. “His dedication on CGMA’s Board of Directors and the CGMA Foundation Board led to the first education grants, creating some of the most popular and widely-used education courses today. We are grateful for all that Sam has done for CGMA and the industry.”
